7 Photos That Will Make You Want To Visit Laos

7 Photos That Will Make You Want To Visit Laos

Many of us travellers talk about southern Thailand’s pristine islands, Cambodia’s ancient temples of Angkor Wat, and Vietnam’s limestone cliffs of Halong Bay, but we seldom seem to mention the mysterious land-locked country of Laos, which sits bounded by all three.

Laos has much to offer travellers in the way of both cultural and natural accomplishments. From hill tribes in the north embellishing traditions that date back centuries, to modern French influences of central cities Vientiane & Vang Vieng, to the riverine archipelago of the 4000 Islands, located on the Mekong River in the southern part of the country. Spend a month here you’ll find yourself wanting to extend your visit.

I teamed up with famous Canadian wildlife and adventure photographer Awaken The Traveller to showcase some photos which will feed your wanderlust, and prove that Laos is a place worth visiting.
